A recently released Gallup Poll has found that 67.5 percent of adults in Virginia sought routine dental care in 2013. This is nearly 3 percentage points above the 64.7 percent national average, and a full 14 above the lowest-ranked state in the nation.

Routine dental care consists of regularly scheduled visits for cleanings and examinations – something nearly 70 percent of adults in Virginia report having done at least once over the past 12 months.
