About Dr. Sameera Meyer

Cosmetic and Neuromuscular Dentistry in Burke, VA

Dr. Sameera Meyer is a general dentist with a special focus on infant tongue tie procedures, proudly serving families in Northern Virginia, the same community where she grew up and now raises her own children.

“As a mom myself, I know how overwhelming it can be when feeding, sleep, or comfort just aren’t going the way you hoped. You want answers, and more importantly, you want to feel supported. That’s why I’ve dedicated my practice to helping babies, and their families, thrive from the very beginning.”

I received advanced training in tongue tie diagnosis and treatment under the world-renowned Dr. Richard Baxter, and I’m a proud Fellow of the American Laser Study Club. With the latest in gentle laser technology, I provide safe, effective care for infants and young children experiencing challenges related to tethered oral tissues — always in a calm, nurturing environment.

After graduating from The Potomac School in McLean, I earned my undergraduate degree from the University of Rochester and completed dental school at the University of Maryland. But it’s the families I meet every day who continue to teach me the most.

My goal is to offer more than just a procedure — I want every parent to feel heard, every baby to feel safe, and every family to leave feeling more hopeful than when they walked in. “

Beauty

We all want a beautiful smile that expresses our emotions and personality.

Balance

People with TMJ can spend years seeing many doctors, and specialists.

Breath

An undeveloped airway in your mouth often leads to obstructed sleep apnea.

My Book

Dr. Marzban’s book describes how to identify incorrect facial and jaw development.

Do you wonder why nearly every child needs orthodontics? Why are people mouth breathing and developing mouth breather faces?
